Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

TabTrade - What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.

FIX API is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should make the platform set when it lands.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Now, the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything. But factor into how you think about it.

The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it is your call.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding.
